Travel to Belper by road

The market town of Belper is situated on the A6 between Derby and Matlock.

From the south:

Leave at Junction 25 of the M1
Take the A52 into Derby
Follow the signs for the A6 to Belper.

From the north:

Leave at Junction 28 of the M1
Take the A38 south towards Derby
Take the A610 exit towards Matlock
At the A6 junction turn left to Belper.

Derby is served by East Midland Trains and is only an hour and a half from London.

Derby to Belper is on the Derby to Matlock local line, also operated by East Midlands Trains and is a 10 minute journey.

Car Parking

Just one quick note if you are coming by car into Belper, there are quite a few car parks. Two free car parks are The Coppice behind the Market Place and the other free one is on Derwent Street.
